How to Reach Us
If you come from Piazzale Roma or the Railway station take one of the waterbuses with direction “Lido”(Line 5.1 – 6 or 5.2) once you get off in Lido take one of the buses heading in the direction “Malamocco” or “Alberoni” (Lines A or B or C) get off at “TORTA” bus stop then follow the sidewalk turning right, you are only 100 mt. by walking from the hotel.
Arriving at CANOVA airport in Treviso, take the bus to the bus station in Venice (Piazzale Roma). www.atvo.it – Then follow the above instructions “If you arrive in Venice by train/bus.”
Arriving at MARCO POLO airport, you can choose between:
- Taking the airport-Lido transfer (1 hour) of the ALILAGUNA line – www.alilaguna.it ticket costs €15.00 (€27.00 round trip).
- Or using the ACTV public transport service (about 1 hour) www.actv.it/muoversiavenezia/muoversiavenezia. Purchase the pass at the airport which includes the bus and vaporetto for the period of your stay in the city (see above), take the AEROBUS bus n°5 to Piazzale Roma (€8.00), then continue with one of the vaporettos heading to Lido (line 5.1 or 6).
Arriving at Lido: Take one of the buses going to Malamocco or Alberoni (line A, B, or C) and get off at stop n°7/12 (Gallo-Torta), from the bus stop continue for 100m along the sidewalk keeping to the right. Arrived.
• You can choose to leave your car in one of the paid parking lots in Mestre or Venice Tronchetto (€10-25 per day). www.asmvenezia.it
• Or bring your car with you to Lido by taking the Ferry boat and park it for free on the street in front of the hotel.
FERRY-BOAT (LINE 17) “Tronchetto – Lido” (no Punta Sabbioni) https://actv.avmspa.it/en/content/ferry-boat-4 Tickets can be purchased at the ticket offices at the boarding point of the “Tronchetto.” Driver’s and/or passengers’ tickets are not included in the vehicle transport rates.

Yes, Hotel Sorriso has a private beach located 300 meters from the hotel. Access is possible by booking the “beach package,” which includes the use of a beach umbrella and two loungers at a cost of €25.00 per day, valid from the day of arrival until the day before departure. Beach opening hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The above-mentioned package includes the use of a changing room, showers with hot water, toilets, lifeguard service, and access to the bar/restaurant. We do not provide beach towels.
Yes, we recommend booking the beach package in advance to ensure availability. Without a reservation, we cannot guarantee availability upon arrival at the hotel. For those who do not wish to book, a free beach is located 100 meters to the right, but without the included services.
